Fundraising Projects and XC Costs Explained
Our major fundraiser for the season is on August 20th. We are putting on the “Warrior 5k Run/Walk” for the community. All proceeds go directly back into our program for the kids. Based on the turnout of this event we will decide whether or not to do the jog-a-thon. The “Letters” fundraiser will no longer be a part of our fundraising.

Trips: We will be taking one trip this year- Silverwood XC Meet.
*Note about Silverwood- We receive discounted tickets into the park after the race for $18 a piece. This money needs to be provided by the attending athletes.*

Awesome Kayla! We are glad to have you join our team. Keep an eye on this website for the important dates. Also, the Meridian School District is charging every athlete in every sport $110 this year due to the budget cuts. Other than that there is no “XC” fee to join the team. I will have you talk to our athletic director to make sure you are cleared to run when we start on the 12th. If you have any other questions before then please feel free to ask!
